Reyna Bernal Alatorre, of Arlington, Texas, born on January 5, 1957, in Ciudad de México, Mexico, passed away at age 69 on May 15, 2026 alongside her loving family. Reyna was a loving mother, daughter, and sister, with a big heart and a love for life that was contagious. She was kind and sweet to everyone she met, always putting her family first. She was a vibrant soul who loved to dance, celebrate the Mexican culture, and had a passion for arts and crafts. Reyna was known for volunteering at local schools to decorate and organize public events, bringing joy to those around her. She had a unique routine of having her cafe and pan before bed, a testament to her fondness of simple pleasures in life.
Reyna is survived by her children, Zeltzin Johnson and Juan Garcia; her sister, Sara Paramo; and her brother, Juan Bernal. She was preceded in death by her father, Luis Bernal Cortes, and her mother, Luz Maria Alatorre.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 12:00pm at Luna Family Funeral Home, 1635 New York Avenue, Arlington, Texas, 76010. The burial will follow at 2:00pm at Mountain Creek Cemetery, 2099 Hardy Road, Grand Prairie, Texas, 75051.
